Burke County Cotton Warehouse was a renovation of a 56,000 square foot warehouse in Waynesboro Georgia. The existing roof system consisted of radius sheet metal roof panels over tongue and groove roof decking.

The new system consists of 2.5” of insulation with fully adhered 60mil (.060), grey in color, TPO roofing.

New skylights, gutters, eave and fascia metals, and downspouts were added to give a complete new roof system.

Carrollton Highschool - Carrollton, GA

Carrollton High School was a multiple phased new construction project in Carrollton, Georgia that was completed in 2019.

This project included a couple varieties of roof systems in our scope of work. The main roofing system is a fully adhered TPO membrane roof over insulation and metal decking.

Our crews terminated membrane at both scuppers and gutters provided and installed by Dusty Greer Roofing. Tapered crickets were installed to ensure proper flow of water to these desired locations.  Walkway pad was installed around all HVAC units, fans, access points, and rooftop equipment to protect the surface.

Along with the TPO roofing, we provided and installed all standing seam metal roofs. These standing seam metal roofs were installed over ice and water shield and insulation board over metal decking. Our crews installed all of the collector boxes, downspouts, edge metals to complete the roof system.

City of Fayetteville “Stonewall Building” - Fayetteville, GA

The Stonewall Building for the city of Fayetteville was completed in two phases.

Phase 1 consisted of tear off and removal of the existing roofing system with a reroof of that area using mechanically fastened insulation and 60 mil TPO. New gutters, downspouts, and edgmetals gave this building a complete new roof system.

Phase 2 consisted of removal and haul away of existing slate shingles on the screen wall surrounding the front and sides of the building. New certainteed shingles were installed on the screenwall as well as a new coping cap.

Core Credit Union - Statesboro, GA

Core Credit Union was an exciting project with various scopes of work.

This project was new construction consisting of a new fully tapered flat roof system with 60 mil TPO in the roof wells. Also, our crews installed standing seam metal panels at the mansard walls and out buildings. Our crews installed all of the tapered roofs, metal panel roofs, and edge metals including gutters and downspouts on all roofs.

This E911 center is a pre engineered metal building (PEMB).

We used flute fill styrofoam between the high ribs of the existing metal roof to even the plane of the insulation and metal panels. Additionally, we added another layer of insulation to achieve the required R value and create a smooth surface to adhere the new TPO roofing too.

New wood blocking was installed at the perimeters to allow for attachment of new edge metals. Also, new taper system, downspout, and collector box were added at the front screen wall to allow water to easily flow out of this area.

Dacula Middle School - Dacula, GA

The reroofing of Dacula Middle School was performed for the Gwinnett County School System.

This project was a recover of the existing roof system. We had loose gravel removed from the existing built up roofing and added a layer of ½” High Density (HD) insulation directly over the existing roof system.

The HD insulation was fully adhered to the existing substrate and a new 60 mil TPO roof was adhered to the HD insulation. Our crews also installed an additional steel roof to roof ladder and new condensation lines to update the existing roof system.

New downspouts, gutters, termination metals, and perimeter metals were also installed.

The reroofing of Fort Daniel Elementary School was also performed for the Gwinnett County School System.

Much like Dacula Middle School, this project was a recover of the existing roofing system and an installation of new 60 mil, tan in color, TPO membrane.

The attachment method for this system was a mechanically attached HD insulation board over the cleaned and prepped existing roof. The TPO roofing was also mechanically attached.

Additional items in the scope of work for this project were the expansion of existing supper holes, steel ladder installation, new condensation lines, and new perimeter coping metal.

The reroof for Gwinnett County’s 170,000 square foot headquarters building was one of our largest projects of the year.

Our crews installed a recover system over the existing EPDM membrane. Loose ballast rocks were removed from the roof and our crews installed a ½” High Density insulation board as a barrier over the existing EMPD membrane.

We then installed mechanically fastened 90mil (090) fleeceback TPO membrane over the HD insulation. New 12” box gutters along with new 10” downspouts and edgemetals, including coping, and a 2 piece fascia metal, were installed to complete the roof system.

Gwinnett County ISC Building 300 - Suwannee, GA

This new construction project at the headquarters building for Gwinnett County schools and public broadcasting consisted of a new, mechanically attached, 60 mil TPO system with gutters, downspouts, and edge metals.

This new building tied into existing buildings and warrantied/permanent tie ins were installed in order to allow a dry and effective roof. New steel roof to roof ladders were also installed to allow this new roof to flow with the existing structure.

The re-roofing project of the old Vidalia High School consisted of a couple of different roof systems. Both of the systems were installed directly over the existing roof(s).

The new roof system over the gymnasium is a fully adhered fleeceback TPO membrane over the existing modified roof. For the remaining areas of the school in the scope of work our crews installed rigid insulation boards, or iso, over the existing roof with fully adhered TPO membrane.

New edge metals were also installed to provide a complete envelope of the roof systems.

Lake Park Elementary School - Albany, GA

Lake Park Elementary consisted of approximately 565 squares of fleeceback membrane fully adhered over existing modified bitumen roofing.

The fleeceback membrane used was 135 mil, giving the owner a 20 year watertight warranty. Existing areas of wet insulation and abandoned rooftop curbs were removed and infilled with new metal decking and tapered insulation to match the existing slope. Unit flashings and wall flashings were also removed and the areas were covered in DensDeck prior to installing new flashings in order to provide a barrier between existing asphalt and new TPO.

This roof system was made complete with new mill finish aluminum perimeter metals, termination metals, and coping. In addition to the metals and roofing, our crews installed over 30 new 4” retrofit drains to ensure that the roofing system did not have any voids in water tightness with the transition from the existing roof to the new TPO roof.

All TPO, drains, and metals were completed in 13 working days!
